My mission

In the 20+ years I have been treating cancer patients I have seen cancer therapies become more sophisticated, targeted and and consequently more complex. Navigating the path and guiding patients through the revolving door of increasing options has become a challenge I am privileged to be a part of.

Over these years, patient empowerment has become more important and many patients are integrating nutrition and exercise into their cancer care because they understand that lifestyle strategies have a significant impact on their health and healing.

It has become clear that the scientific literature overwhelmingly supports plant based dietary patterns and physical acitivity (amongst other lifestyle medicine pillars) in the prevention and reduction of most chronic diseases, including cancer. Armed with this knowledge, I have joined forces with plant based medical professionals worldwide to promote nutrition in health care and disease prevention.
